26 May 2023, the South African Embassy in Addis Ababa celebrated 29 years of a Democratic, Non- racial, Non-sexist and Unitary South Africa. This auspicious occassion was graced by the presence and address by the Minister ìn the Presidency for Women, Youth and People with Disabilities of the Republic of South Africa: H.E. Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma; the Director- General for Africa Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia: H.E. Ambassador Fesseha Shawel, and the Deputy Chairperson for the African Union Commission: Dr Monique Nsanzabaganwa. Various Government departments were represented by dignitories at high level, these include the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Ministry of Sport and Culture and the Ministry of Tourism[Read More].

From 25-28 April 2023, Wesgro, the Cape Town and Western Cape official Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, has completed a successful Tourism, Trade and Investnent outward mission to Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. This was in collaboration with the South African Embassy, Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectorial Associations and Ethiopian Investment Commission.
