On 31 December 2019, H.E. Ambassador Edward Xolisa Makaya paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E Gedu Andargachew. The Minister extended a very warm welcome to the Ambassador and committed to work in partnership with his Excellency, to strengthen the long standing historical relations between the two countries. Both Minister Andargachew and Ambassador Makaya committed to promote trade relations between South Africa and Ethiopia.
