On 03 December 2020, H.E Ambassador Edward Xolisa Makaya of the Republic of South Africa to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti and Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), hosted a brunch to bid farewell to Ambassador Catherine Mwangi of the Republic of Kenya to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti and Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU), Inter-Government Authority on Development (IGAD) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
